PASSIONATE best describes how I feel about the challenges of retailing, store operations and corporate management. Since the day I started on a sales floor selling to customers, to the point where I was directing all of the sales operations teams, I have always had a zest for driving success
in business.
The bulk of my experience comes through 30 years of consistent achievements in leadership roles at RadioShack, a Fortune 500 company. Although I have held other positions since my career with “The Shack”, I still contribute my knowledge and success to the incomparable experience I received during those years.
My career at RadioShack began as a young college student working part-time. I rose steadily through the ranks of management and excelled at every level. From store to field management, I consistently achieved record performances in sales and profits from my stores and employees. Ultimately, I obtained the top position of Executive Vice President and Chief Channel Operations Officer.
As Executive Vice President of all Retail Stores with RadioShack, the largest wireless retailer in the United States and Caribbean, I was responsible for the operating performance of the company’s 7,000+ locations and 30,000+ store employees. In this role, my team created a sharp focus on exploiting the wireless industry as RadioShack reached five billion dollars in sales, doubled company profits and saw their stock price reach record highs. During my 30 years with the consumer electronics giant, I was always viewed as an inspirational leader and performance award winner in driving record sales
and profits.
At this stage in my career, I am enthusiastic about sharing my business knowledge and utilizing my talents to help companies reach their goals…..whatever that may be. Whether in consulting roles, speaking engagements or board member participation, I appreciate working with companies that share my zest for performance. While I hold extensive knowledge across all facets of retail, my expertise and excitement lie within the operating environment of the store….. plotting out the customer success process and then optimizing the execution that drives revenue, margins, productivity and profits.
