One of my consistent strengths is that I have never lost touch with the most critical element of retail success…. store execution. In my career, as I achieved success and growth with greater corporate responsibilities, I never lost my interest and passion for the retail store. My later executive roles required much of my time be confined to the board room for meetings with numerous departments.  While that time was extremely valuable and important, my most productive days have been and always will be when I’m in the stores with the retail teams.
